Using Ahaar

Ahaar helps people coordinate the voluntary sharing of surplus food in Bangladesh. By using the app or website, you agree to use it honestly, lawfully and with care for the people involved. Contact [email protected] if you need help.
Accounts and roles
Provide accurate information, keep your sign-in access secure and use only the role assigned to your account. We may review profile submissions and restrict accounts when needed to protect participants or the service.
Food and delivery
Donors are responsible for describing food accurately, setting realistic pickup and safe-until times, and offering food that is safe to share. Volunteers should follow the in-app quality check, handle food carefully and decline any food that appears unsafe. Recipients should check food before consuming or distributing it. Follow applicable food safety rules and the Ahaar guidance. Ahaar coordinates participants; it cannot independently inspect or guarantee every item.
Respect and acceptable use
Do not post false listings or requests, impersonate another person, misuse documents or personal information, harass participants, or interfere with the app or its security. Use contact and location information only to complete the relevant rescue.
Availability and changes
Listings, matching, notifications and delivery estimates depend on participants, connectivity and the service. Availability is not guaranteed. We may change or suspend features and update these terms by posting a revised version here.
